The Gateshead Gan is a brand new childcare setting opening for all families in the Gateshead kehilla.
Our setting is located on Gladstone Terrace (former Scout House), and will be opening after Chanukah תשפ"ה. It will be operated by and directed by Rabbi Z. Salomon.
We welcome children up to the age of 5. With dedicated staff, outstanding education, and a warm environment, your child will feel right at home here.
At The Gateshead Gan, we will provide a warm, nurturing environment where your child will feel right at home. But childcare is only part of what we offer. We believe in the importance of using these early years to educate and prepare children for their future lives.
Our daily activities follow a carefully prepared curriculum, designed to teach your child the skills and knowledge to put them on the right tracks to success through school and beyond.

The Hashkofos and knowledge they’re taught now will accompany them throughout their lives. Our mission is not just to deliver childcare, but to lay the foundations for a lifelong passion of Torah, Mitzvois, and Yiddishkeit.
At The Gateshead Gan, our staff are dedicated to ensuring this opportunity for Chinuch is used to its full potential. We will make learning about Torah values fun and engaging, through weekly Shabbos parties, singing davening together every day, making crafts for each Yom Tov, and a carefully planned curriculum.

We have a higher than average teacher-child ratio, meaning more individual focus by staff who really understand your child’s needs.
The Gateshead Gan operates a key worker system. Your child will be assigned one teacher who is responsible for their personal development.
All members of staff get to know all the children very well but it will be the key worker’s role to monitor, assess and plan for your child’s development in all areas of learning.
